BwAI is a tech event held by Google Developer Group around the world. There, we can meet professionals, students, and all tech enthusiasts in Generative-AI products by Google. Learn from Google experts, explore cutting-edge tools, and build real-world works, regardless of your experience level. This year, Google Developer Group Jakarta held BwAI 2025 at Studio Sepat 72, South Jakarta. I’ve been invited to volunteering as graphic designer, since my last work with them on DevFest 24 works well. So today, I’m happily to share my works for BwAI 2025 Jakarta, from start to finish.
Brand Style guide
To start, I want to walk you through the brand style guide. Google provided it already, but it feels outdated and not match with the event. Anyway, I want to bring something different and better for Jakarta.
Below is the initial Brand Style Guide from Google.
Color Scheme
Start from the colors, I started by doing some research about Google’s AI products, and I found these.

Identity Design
We already have the right colors and design system. Now let’s move on to the identity for BwAI 2025 Jakarta. As we see on the Google’s initial Style Guide I show you earlier, the event identity feels general. Nothing unique that can be spotted as “Jakarta”. So I try to modify the initial BwAI logo, and added Jakarta icon, Ondel-Ondel.
